General Information
Wood Mountain is a Lakota First Nation located south-west of Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan. They were excluded during the Numbered Treaty making process and are not signatories to any Treaties. They are the only registered Lakota Nation in Canada, and are affiliated with the File Hills Qu'Appelle Tribal Council. As of 2022, The Wood Mountain First Nation has a registered population of 355.
