Inspection of Cowessess reserve

Summary

Edgar Dewdney visited the reserve that had been allocated for the Cowessess nation, but decided it was unfit for a reserve or a farming agency. He sent Little Child, the leader of the band, and Mr. Setter, the farming instructor assigned to the reserve, to inspect a different tract of land east of the Cypress Hills and determine if it would make a suitable alternative reserve.
