Summary
On October 9th, 1888, a fire swept through Pasqua and Muscopetung's reserves. The fire originated at the Canadian Pacific Railway, but moved quickly through these reserves because of the dry weather and high winds. Pasqua's band was evacuated from their reserve to the Touchwood Hills.
