Abstract
Robert Goodvoice tells a story of the movement of the Dakota from the Northern United States into Canada, following pressures from the American Military. Goodvoice talks about the route through Portage la Prairie in Manitoba to Prince Albert, Saskatchewan, and the division of the group. Goodvoice also discusses his knowledge of traditional medicine and healing practices, and reflects on the loss of knowledge due to colonial intervention/suppression.
