Agreement between Hudson's Bay Company and Dakota

The Dakota made an agreement with the Hudson's Bay Company in which they would trade their furs exclusively with the company in exchange for the right to live on HBC land. The Dakota lived independently on HBC land, not being applicable for Canadian treaty aid, until 1918, when they moved onto the Round Plain reserve.
