Abstract provided by the Gabriel Dumont Institute: "James was interviewed on August 18, 1976 in Cumberland House, Saskatchewan. Jim Carriere is a resident of Cumberland House. He worked for Jim Brady when the latter was a field officer for the CCF government. He and other members of the Carriere family have been active in community and commercial activities for many years.
