The St. Therese Residential School burned down in 1952 and the students were moved across MB border to the Pas and were later sent to the Guy Hill Indian Residential School in Clearwater Lake, MB.

This school is also sometimes recorded as the Sacred Heart Residential School.
The school was Presbyterian from 1884 to 1926 and then became United from 1926 until it closed down in 1950.
