Abstract

From the Provided Abstract: "Born in 1890, Mrs. Moulin remembers Gabriel Dumont and heard a great deal about the 1885 Rebellion [currently known as the North-West Resistance] from her grandmother. She shares what she remembers being told by her grandmother about the 1885 Rebellion and the leaders [Gabriel Dumont and Louis Riel]." ---------- The interview is relatively short (5 pages) and reflects Mrs. Moulin's feelings on Dumont and Riel's role in the Resistance - including her childhood recollections of Dumont in her Grandmother's home.
