Abstract
Linda Youens was born in North Battleford, and grew up in Radisson, Saskatchewan. In Youens' interview she discusses her experiences growing up in the foster care system (of which she lived in 4 foster homes), and the mistreatment from foster parents and social workers. Youens also talks about the treatment of Metis people by the RCMP/police, teachers, the church, and others like the general public. Youens shares her personal history and involvement in the Women's Liberation Movement, Native Movement, and the relationship/connection between the two.
