Willard Dumont discusses his life as a rancher and his time spent in the Army in WWII. Willard recalls his familial history and discusses how where his grandparents built their home. He touches on his experience with racial discrimination when looking for work when returning from WWII, as well as some of the benefits he received as a veteran. Willard clarifies however that not all Metis veterans were Willard also discusses building red river carts and his memories of his family's Métis customs and traditions.
