Abstract

Abstract provided by the Gabriel Dumont Institute: Evelyn was interviewed on September 13, 1976 in Green Lake, Saskatchewan. Evelyn Fiddler is a resident of Green Lake and has been involved in the Métis Society almost from the beginning. She recounts the first efforts to get the association off the ground and talks about the group’s goals and the themes emphasized by Norris when he was organizing.
