Abstract provided by Gabriel Dumont Institute: Octave was interviewed on July 19, 1973 in Wakaw, Saskatchewan. Octave was born and raised in Fish Creek where his father was the ferryman. He shares stories of the 1885 Resistance as told to him by his father.
