Abstract

Abstract provided by the Gabriel Dumont Institute: Victoria was interviewed on April 16, 1984 in Duck Lake, Saskatchewan. Victoria discusses her school life in detail and overall she had a good experience. She received her grade eight growing up but later on in her life she went back to upgrade. She also discusses food sources, aspects of her social life such as dances, music, celebrations, clothing, politics, and her Métis pride. Victoria talks about her three children and what they did at the time of this interview.
