Groves, Jim Interview

Abstract

Abstract provided by the Gabriel Dumont Institute: Jim was interviewed on July 29, 1982 in Holbein, Saskatchewan. Jim’s father was a rancher and a freighter for the Hudson’s Bay Company and once he married he started farming. During this interview, Jim gives a general overview of his life growing up including farming, school, work, wages, religion, social life and family.
