General Information
Prince Albert was founded in 1866, by James Isbister, a Métis fur trader and farmer. Today, Prince Albert is Saskatchewan's third largest city. According to data collected by Statistics Canada in the 2021 Census, Métis citizens represented 17.1% of Prince Albert's overall population; Indigenous citizens, who are not Métis, represented 25% of Prince Albert's overall population.
